Kyocera’s D880ss comes with really huge buttons for technophobes. With most cell phones nowadays able to do everything you ever wanted (camera, MP3 player, voice recorder, video recorder), the D880ss is a back-to-basics phone. It provides the essential phone functions, has a quick dial list, and has SMS messaging functions. There’s even a pull-out tray at the bottom should you need to scribble quick notes on-the-fly during the course of a conversation, eliminating the “write-on-my-palm” method. (specs below)

That sounds suspiciously similar to the reason given for Nokia’s N91 delay. Well what can we consumers do except to hold on to our breaths a little longer?
