Sony Ericsson just announced an FM Transmitter accessory for the Walkman Phones: the MDS-70. Its design is very stylish, elegant and should fit very well with the W800 or W900 Series of MP3 cellphones from Sony Ericsson. It is surprisingly small compared to the size of most iPod FM transmitters. In general I don’t like such transmitters because the sound tends to be fairly bad, especially in the car but at least, this one is cute.

Motorola today announced that the Motorola PEBL U6 is now on sale in Hong Kong through authorized retailers. Inspired by the feel of a stone worn smooth by water, the oval handset marks a significant evolution in Motorola’s mobile design ethos.
The PEBL U6 has a distinctive rounded shape that articulates one of the key forms in Motorola’s evolving design philosophy. While attributes such as “chiselled, thin and defined” steered the development of the RAZR, the PEBL U6 is shaped to reflect “tactile, soft and mysterious” qualities and unveils a small yet luxurious object of desire.
Jim Wicks, VP of Consumer Experience Design at Motorola, says: “The PEBL U6 silhouette is created to emotionally and rationally engage with consumers. It has a character and defined personality that speak a very human and intuitive language through sight, sound and touch.”
A perfect marriage of design and innovation, PEBL U6’s unique opening mechanism adds to the mystery and allure of this simple, yet distinctive, handset. Features include integrated Bluetooth wireless technology, speaker-independent voice recognition, up to 5MB of memory, and a VGA camera. All seamlessly merge to deliver an effortlessly cool experience.
Following the success of the RAZR, the PEBL U6’s distinctive profile continues to lay the foundation for Motorola’s design strategy and product portfolio.
Pricing and Availability
The PEBL U6 is available in black for HK$3,480 ($450 USD) and available at Motorola authorized retailers from Oct 17, 2005. The Motorola PEBL is expect to be released in the U.S. in Q4 2005.

Epson is comparing against current mobile devices LCDs, of course. The displays measure 2.2, 2.8 and 4.5 inches and would be perfect for cellphones, digital cameras, PDAs and Portable Media Players.

Sony Ericsson have launched a new cell phone that comes with a digital music player and a camera, much like its predecessor the W800. The W900i is a brand new 3G Walkman phone and comes with a venerable 2-megapixel camera that allows users to download and view video, games, and graphics.
