“Motorola’s chief executive - Ed Zander has reportedly admitted that the company may have got it wrong with the recently released, iTunes-compatible, ROKR phone.
Apparently Ed Zander was reacting to research findings, that the number of people returning the ROKR is six times higher than normal.
Albert Lin, an analyst at American Technology Research, conducted research among US retailers and distributors, and concluded that there is an overall disappointment with the ROKR. Lin found that many customers who have bought the phone, are exchanging it for other handsets, sooner than expected for a recently launched product. ”
