Yahoo! has joined the conversation players and will soon sell their very own branded cell phone via Cingular’s network. The Internet portal giant will launch a co-branded phone by extending their business partnership with SBC, Cingular’s parent company, whom they currently share a co-branded hi-speed Internet service with. SBC executives claim that the Yahoo! handset is actually a Nokia model that comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, memory card, and MP3 playback.
