Hikari Personal Phone from NTT West Japan
NTT West of Japan will introduce the Hikari Personal Phone (HPP) on January 16. The HPP provides IP telephony functions via the 802.11b network, utilizing NTT West Japan’s Hikari Phone IP service that takes up the 0AB ~ J numbers. You can have multiple phone numbers on a single line that can be used simultaneously. Data transfer to a PC can be performed via the HPP’s USB 2.0 port. The HPP measures 43 x 20 x 130mm, weighs 102g, stores up to 300 entries, and provides up to 3 hours’ worth of talk time and 55 hours of standby time. Via Tech Japan
